Thank you David, Spencer and Sarah for your kind comments. I have visited here several times and I am always struck by how beautiful the surroundings are. It is not difficult to see how it inspired Dylan Thomas to write some of his best poetry.

An idyllic spot David, I can see what inspired you to paint it. Some super passages throughout, I especially like the treatment of the shore.

A relaxing outlook , well painted

Thank you Malcolm for your kind comments. The actual place that Dylan Thomas wrote much of his poetry was the small shed at the end of the garden which has a wonderful view across the estuary or as he said ‘the heron priested shore’. A magical place.
