Gilead 21

All of your works are absolutely delicious and sumptuous! I am surprised that they are all small - my word I can see them as three meter oils in a top New York gallery !? :-) OK will go look at the ones I have not yet viewed now. Lovely sense of organic design and colour.

Lol...Thanks Peter - I've always thought of the as 'big' in my minds eye - in fact I was all set to carry on with them at a bigger scale for a gallery that was interested..ha.but things fall thru.then yr onto the next thing...........but I'll come back to the whole Gilead series. They were exhibited in St Davids Hall Cardiff in 1992 - along with a 15 page catalogue and essay - the essay had a lot to do with the writing of George Steiner in his book 'Real Presence'- I sent the essay to him and was really chuffed to get a supportive hand writen note from him on opening night.
