Excellent, love the way you used the trees.

Thank you Retha - I did a lot at Blackweir - and it's still ongoing in a lot of ways. Also using some of the properties of the Necker cube phenomena as a way to look at or organise space - still has a way to go. Theses things were also a way of contacting and reconnecting myself back to some of the experiments that painters were making in the early 1900's via cubism etc etc - in this way I was journeying to try and found out for myself where I am today as a painter without suffering the slipshod and half mindless philosophies of post modernism - which has almost become an excuse for many 'modern' artists to 'dick' about. That itself is part of art practice of course - the messing about I mean - but I wouldn't want to get lost in it. Cheers, I hope this makes some kind of sense - Dai
