Thanks, Ruth. I tend to paint in oils but have been experimenting with acrylics using some "classic" approaches/methods used in oil painting. On the plus side is the drying time between glazes is much quicker than oils, even with some of the more "stubborn" colours but the number of layers has not necessarily decreased. That aside - irrespective, patience remains tested.
