Certainly a landscape that deserves painting and you have captured it well Craig with some tonal perspective, just feel it needs a point of interest/focus, maybe cows or walkers.

To me, the brightest part of the stream is in just the right place for focal interest. But we all have different opinions, it's good that you're confident in your own interpretation. Sometimes doubts can creep in, sometimes not.

Love how you've captured the lighter tones fading in the distance, clever use of greens drawing the eye through.
