You've handled your greens very well here Chris, I try and avoid greens! I like your lead into the painting and there are some lovely shadows around the cottages.

Many thanks Fiona for your kind comments.Greens can be difficult and I always mix my own rather than using ready made ones.

Good for you, I always mix my greens too but because I use a limited palette my greens are limited...lol. I do sometimes use a tube green if I'm doing flowers, they can be more vibrant than my mixed greens.

Thank you Fiona for your reply , and i understand if there is a green that suits a specific purpose you must use it , but I find for landscape painting mixing my own greens is preferential. Happy painting , keep them coming.
