I agree with Ruth re the tones and your drawing is sound too Christopher, your washes seem a little heavy to me though, reminds me of how I used to paint some time ago, try to add more water to your mixes and the colour will be more transparent, yet still strong. Look at Michael Trask's postings on P.O.L.
