I can feel the movement

It is good, the ground is a little too bright and colouful, taking the eye away.

Yes Derek, thanks I wondered what was wrong with this one , just couldn't put my finger on it. perhaps a little white wash might tone it down a little ????

You could try that, so long out of oils now I can't really help.

Think it's that green back field behind the green of the Spitfire wing. Had it been a lighter yellow colour, the wing would stand out more. The background is fine, just that one field I think. Also, how about some white/silver outlines on the actual body work of the spitfire, or under the wings (maybe) to throw it's shape forwards? I do like it, it just need that little tweak.
