Can I bring the dog too?

This is a painting with a storyline. Young Christine is moving to a smaller house with her parents. They told her that she can only bring one pet with her. After a lot of struggle, she decided to bring the cat, but how can she leaves behind her dog?This painting depicts the heartbreaking moment when she begged her parents to allow her to take the dog as well. I tried to give both pets some expressions as well. The cat seems quite contented whilst the dog has a vacant stare.
