Well done Chris, as others have said on your other drawings good idea to cut back abit on how many you post in any one day, you are very talented this is extremely good of Samuel L. no doubting who it is, you obviously go for the realism look and it suits your style perfectly

Thanks for all th comments very much appreciated and I see now adding too much work appears to take over the site not allowing others space, so I will add one ata time from now. Lionel I worked the background in 6B, but looked bit scruffy so went over it with black pastel Samuel Jackson is 17cm width and 25cm height. Once again cheers for the feedback.

I was wondering too, had thought it might be charcoal the darks are so gloriously rich and dark. Excellent portrait, Chris, has the WOW factor

Excellent drawings and I happy that more is to come. You have demonstrated how to use graphite to great effect. This one stands out, but that is most likely because of the black pastel, which really set it off. Excellent.
