I love this and I also love your aircraft carrier, This is a beautiful painting of a beautiful ship well done. My Brother Iain was killed on board HMS Argonaut in the Falklands and I would love to do a painting of the Argonaut, any Idea where I can get photos from not seen anything useful on the internet

Keith, I am sorry to hear about your brother. I spent some days onboard her back in the sixties. Try www.photoship.co.uk for pictures. best to search by her name Argonaut F56. The plain name will get all the other Argonauts as well. Use the arrows at the top of the picture pages to navigate round. There are several pics of her there. Good luck and thanks for your kind comments

This is almost a photo Chris :-) very crisp and clear, i think you have a lot of artistic talent :-)

I spent 9 months onboard gaining my engineroom watchkeeping certificate before going off to the RN Engineering College. Starling was placed in reserve at the end of 1959 and scrapped in 1965
