What a cute little creature, it looks like a sort of guinea pig, but i am sure someone else will have more knowledge than me. A lovely painting you have created anyway.

I asked my 11 year old grandson, Hector, what animal this is (he is a walking encylopedia of animal knowledge!). This is his reply 'The animal seems to be a red panda of the racoon family. It is found in eastern Asis and is mostly herbivorous'. I vaguely remember seeing one of these pandas at Chester Zoo a while back so I think Hector is right. Lovely painting of such a cute animal.
