Hi Chris,thank you for the input on my pastel pic ,it is still on the easel so I could add to it,do you mean add a closer larger tree or a little barn ,though not sure where I'd stick that. I am very glad my pic encouraged you to put your work on here as well,be lovely to see some more.. think you have done a lovely pic here the sea and sky have a distant look to me,and Ireally like the rocks in the foreground. kind regards, karen.

Thanks Chris, now I taken a good look at the pic I see exactly what you mean ,there is definately no fading of the colours for the distant hills/fields ,each colour is the same shade over its entire area,,now I will have to play with it some more,thanks for the help, see an extra pair of eyes really helps!. kind regards, Karen

Iona Abbey on a hazy day. I have left the houses around out of the picture to emphasise the simplicity of the abbey. Also I have tried to give the impression of the sea and hills fading into the distance.
