Blue

Sea colour is good in my opinion. If you had used exactly the same blue at the dome and gate it could have looked a little unadventurous and samey. I like the contrast of the purple tones in the sea. White buildings always have so much impact and this is a wonderful scene, very well painted.

Thats the sort of contrast that you get in those countries, don't be hard on yourself , it is a lovely watercolour and makes you want to be there.
