Hawkesbury Lane crossing signal box

another of my childhood haunts lol i painted this box last year the week it finally shut and was switched out. i knew a signal man here as a kid and again used to get invited in the box when he was on duty and watch the charrington trains and murco oil trains hauled by class 44,45 and 46's.Sad but i had a tear in my eye the day i painted it just before it shut. Lovely painting too,well done.
