Nice composition and lighting, I'm sure they will be very pleased with it. I was evacuated to Melton Mowbray, a long long time ago now!

What a wonderful memory! Lovely evening light on the stonework and the velvety midnight blue sky sets off the tones of the building really well. I hope they are thrilled with it.

16"x12" on canvas board. I've just finished this painting of St Mary's Church in Melton Mowbray. A beautiful church where our daughter got married last November. This is from a photo I took on the eve of the wedding following the rehearsal. I intend to frame it and give it to them as a present.
