Your potential is assured as is your trusty knife Chandra in creating this smashing piece.

Beautiful and brilliant Chandra Bravo

Chandra, the colour is great but the purple like ground colour is rather working against your effort. A good ground colour to start off with when doing landscape is burnt sienna.

Thank you, Derek, Dennis, and John for your comments.....John, this was done on a bit of purple card I happen to have lying around...normally I would use something like burnt sienna....this was just an unplanned play with colour!!

A really nice piece Chandra, you can almost smell the earthiness of autumn, great pallet and nice spacings of the colours just as you would see when the leaves have started to fall, nice one.

Many thanks, Gudrun and Malcolm for your kind comments.

Chandra, I like the purple background, it creates a nice abstract feel to it and sets all the colours off nicely, especially the top half.

Thank you so much Jenny...glad you like the purple, and I agree, it does give the image a more abstract feel. Quite difficult ,I found, to get the right colour balance in a photo, and this was really as close as I could get. Seen in real life, the other colours look much more vibrant and counterbalance the purple.
