Something special to get Cesare.

Lovely portrait as usual Cesare. A lovely gift.

That's a lovely gift Cesare, great watercolour portrait.

Another fine portrait Cesare - & the eyes are great

Thank you David, Ellen, Marjorie, John, Val and Lynne for your kind comments.

Very good Cesare. Your signature as well..sometimes I find writing my name to be the hardest part and often make a mess of it which being watercolour I can't erase..LOL

Such a beautiful portrait again Cesare!

Thank you Gudrun and Louise. Hi Louise, I agree with you, I find too very hard the signature, and I often made it with pen or marker.

Thank you Satu, very kind of you.

I am sure he will be delighted with this fine piece

Beautiful gift and beautifully painted Cesare .... thank you for the comment on my latest the paper is called Icon it's very tricky to work on because if you fiddle about with it you end up with a mess .... The great thing though is if you put paint on it when it's wet and add various colours into your shapes it's quiet beautiful the way it blends and mixes , that's the way I'm using it and when it's bone dry I add little details in . The paper is pretty cheap € 10 for 12 sheets over here , I get it in one of those Euro shops and I used to use it to practice on until I saw how beautifully washes went on ; if I get 4 good ones out of the twelve sheets I'm happy 😊

Yet another winning portrait Cesare.

Truly a superb piece, Cesare - clear, luminous washes and a totally expressive style. Lovely work!

Thank you Derek for your kind comment. Thank you Dermot for your generous comment and thank you for your explanation. I too, when I made some sketches playing with washes use Canson paper A4 120 lb. for 4€ x 10 sheet, and I find the paper is good. Thank you Russel and Seok for your kind comments much appreciated.

Thanks for that Cesare must give canson a go also one never knows what may happen 😊

Hang on Studio Wall
