Yeah for water-soluble oils. And this is a fine example why. Can be washed like watercolor such as in the top of Cesare's painting, and become more thick and painterly as in the bottom two thirds. This is a beautiful painting with a striking composition and for the feeling of excitement, joy of color, and calm all together.
