Lovely painting, Cesare - I love your bold use of colours.

Very bold this,Cesare. The heather clad hillside is wonderful.

Many thanks, Jan and André, for your kind comment. I am a novice with oil colours.

Bravo Cesare! I, too, like your colours. I look forward to seeing more.

Great landscapes in this media Cesare.

Excellent work Cesare! I hope you enjoy exploring this new medium.

Gorgeous Cesare, I love the colours used, so beautiful :)

That's interesting Cesare, trying water soluble oils. What do you think, do you like them? Your two first paintings look very promising and I'll be waiting to see how you progress with this new media.

Great painting Cesare nice and brave using adventurous colours.

It's all been said Cesare but I shall offer my congratulations on a fine painting.

Wow Cesare, looks like you are enjoying the oils. Compared to your watercolour landscapes, you have achieved a lot more depth of colour, and the pallet you use for both media make this quite special. Nice to see the brushmarks too. Keep it up !

Many thanks everyone for your kind comments and great encouragements. I am still uncertain with this new medium but I hope to improve. I find it funny and I will try to use it watercolour-like on paper.

..looks to me that you are thinning out probably with more terps than oil?... <br />Renoir used this technique.... and I tend that way, your work bottom right could be him!!! Well done.
