Simple but effective strokes: a portraitist "in nuce" ...

Interesting, no very interesting Cesare. Each one reflect something about there charater, or better still state of mind. I love these words Cesare. " as consciousness changes so does our world." In other words it all within us. That brings me such comfort.

You've captured various emotions in these portraits really effectively, Cesare. Excellent pieces!

Many thanks, Seok.

Thank you Ezio, John and Seok for your kind comments. Yes John, I agree with your words.

Four charcoal portraits. I found in a drawer four charcoal portraits of my patients I drawn many years ago, when I worked at Mental Hospital in Venice (located at Saint Servolo isle, in front of St. Marck's Square). I did shift work of 24 hours and, after my medical work, I had time to drawn and to play bowls with nurses and patients. I was young and I loved my work, and that was the happiest time of my life.
