Love the reflections in the lake Ceri. If you don’t mind me commenting, I think it would be better without the middle trees as they block t.he viewer’s eye from going further. If you snaked the lake behind those left hand bushes this would really give impact to your painting and lead the viewer into the painting. Please feel free to completely disagree.

Thank you Carole, I think you are spot on with regard the composition and I should have a go at doing this scene as you describe.
