This is wonderful. Great composition and the feel of strength and protection towards the fluffy youngster is great. I've been drawing penguins for 4 weeks since falling in love with African penguins on a trip to Cape Town. They are a joy to draw because they throw such wonderful shapes in a group.

Lovely painting - the baby is really cute. I love penguins too - I think it is that they are a very satisfying shape.
