Yes - the "do stay for luncheon!" look. Very well executed; and you certainly haven't made, and don't make, the common mistake of throwing everything at the head and then forgetting that the body as a whole needs the same degree of attention - as witness the glistening black stripe just behind the animal's shoulder, which is absolutely right.

Another Wow ! from me Catherine.I think you have a fan in me now.I just want to get this good. I'm inspired by your work. thanks again.

Thanks! I do love tigers, more than any other big cat I think. glad you said that about his body Robert...I wasn't sure if I made it TOO detailed!

I don't know why or how I missed this or any of your gallery but I have to say that this and the elephant are two of the very best wildlife paintings I have ever seen. I'm not a great fan of Tiger paintings; they all seem much of a muchness but this has something quite different about it in the totally natural colouring; not that awful overdone orange you so often see. This one is REAL. The elephant ; well it's just pure age and wisdom. The detail in the skin is tremendous.

Thanks Diana, what lovely comments!
