Nicely done. Really good work on the bridle and of course the horse.

What a lovely gallery of pastels. Excellent work, you've caught the glossiness on his face so well.

A fine picture, Whats the attraction of Colourfix paper ?

Colourfix paper can take many layers, it's possible to use watercolour or solvent underneath if you want to and is tough! We don't actually have a great deal of sanded papers to choose from in Australia anyway!!!!! Thank you all for your lovely comments!

Dear Friends, Colourfix paper, at the end, is, we say, a technologically improved paper. The big difference is that colourfixpaper can be used for printing from pictures, what works like drawing and underpainting, and becoming possible an hiper-realistic work. The serious problem is that there have people looking at this kind of things and to think do not be able for painting, once do not feel able for such rigourous way of drawing. It Is true, because anybody is able for doing it. I know of several hiper-realistic painters who are not able for using the free hand. So when we are talking about painting we are talking about serious things. I must apologise, but myself when I was a child I thought —because people did let me think— that certain things only could be made by gods... But over the time I could see how much they are humans... It is a pity...

Sorry Rodrigo, I'm not sure I understand what you are saying. Are you implying that because I am a realist painter I can't have drawn this free hand? Sorry to disappoint you but this was drawn from my own photo- free hand with no help from projectors or 'printing from pictures'. have i misunderstood you? Sorry if I have.

Beautifully captured, done with precise delicacy, very nice
