Definitely potential! I am sorry, I am rubbish at advice but I think this is lovely!

Thank you very much, that means a lot.

Sarah your paintings are incredible.

Thank you so much Catherine - I am pleased you like them!

Seeing as you only started painting during home schooling, I think you’ve done well. It’s surprising what you can do. Grayson Perry has a programme on Ch4 on Friday evenings at 8.00 pm, called Grayson’s Art Club, it’s worth a watch, he’s encouraged people to paint during lockdown.

Thank you I will definitely check him out Ellen. I love your paintings, some lovely images.

Keep going Catherine, you’ve made a terrific start in to painting. To say you’ve only just begun your journey, you’re doing okay. It’s how you have painted the background items and the blanket that I love, the textures you’ve created with paint are great!

You 've absolutely captured that cat, Catherine. The urge to paint is the important thing, keep going and paint what grabs you, that's the secret. I love the colours around the cat!

Thank you for the feedback guys, seeing your works in so in awe 🤩

A complete newbie to painting, I have tried to capture our cats personality and nature from a photo taken as I woke up one morning to this view. It’s my first picture posted on here, has a tonne of errors but one must start somewhere. Constructive advice appreciated. Ps I did this with cheap old brushes and a few tubes of paint but I’ve placed an order for decent materials so hope to make progress. Am I kidding myself or is there potential? All advice appreciated.
