My friends' Collie, Molly passed away just before New Year at almost 15 years of age. She still looked and behaved like a much younger dog. I took a photograph of her 2 years ago and decided to do a portrait of her as a gift for them. I used Hahnemuhle Velour tan paper for a warm background, Koh-i-noor soft pastels and Conte pastel pencils for finer details.
