They are not easy to use Carolyn but you seem to have made a good start, I like the way you have scratched out some of the pastel.

What a great expression on Teddy, you have really caught his character Carolyn. This looks great with your oil pastels, I've not tried them, apparently they are difficult but you have done well with them.

Thank you Margaret. I found that I had to be a lot looser in my drawing whilst using oil pastels than I would be with coloured pencil....but that was half the fun! I intend to keep dabbling.

I decided to dabble with a new media. I have only tried oil pastels twice before but really enjoyed drawing Teddy. I used Reeves oil pastel on multimedia paper A4.
