lovely drawing of your dog. I might be tempted to blend the blue a little round the edge of the dog, using a wad of cotton or a stub. well done Carolyn

This is the beauty of mixing your mediums Carolyn. I see what Tao means and I think that would be good - your choice though!!

Thank you Tao and Adele. I will try your advice. I did use a finger to smudge the pastel but couldn't get in close enough. I will certainly try it.😊

It's a lovely portrait Carolyn, you've created some nice texture in his fur.

The dog's face and ears is all done in coloured pencil but when I started on the white found that it did not show up well against the colour of the paper so I added pastel, then thought it needed colour around the dog so used pastel for the blue.
