I took a photo of these 2 swans whilst holidaying in Bruges. I decided that they would look good as a monochrome image and have drawn them using Royal pencils H, B, 4B and 6B on Cartridge paper 150gsm. The cartridge paper is off white. I think if I was to do this again I would use a whiter paper so that the swans would stand more boldly against the darker background
