Oh Carolyn Monty looks wonderful, you are very skillful in pet portraiture. I must have a go of my dog, trouble is he's all black which is more difficult.

It might have been a long process Carolyn but it was worth it, a lovely portrait.

Thank you so much for your kind words Margaret. I have been doing lots of practice! I did my friend's collie Molly in acrylic (it is on this site) she is very black so I added bits of blues and white. White is the colour I find hardest. Good luck and I look forward to seeing your boy on here soon☺

Thank you ever so much for your kind words Linda. I think this has to be in my top 4.

Gorgeous dog portrait. His expression is wonderful, just begging for something - a walk? another meal?

Thank you very much Sandra for your kind words. Monty (and Shiloh who I put on here a few days ago) belong to my cousin. She sent me the photos. He looks to me like he is talking!

Lovely work Carolyn

Monty looks a real character, you have painted him well.

Thank you David and Jennifer. Much appreciated

Oh I love that face wit the little teeth showing. Monty has beautiful colours.

Thank you very much Carole. He looks a real character doesn't he😀

Meant to comment ages ago but was distracted. This really is delightful. I love the eyes, teeth and dog collar. Your hard work really paid off Carolyn. Congratulations on such a wonderful painting.

Carole, that is such a lovely comment. Thank you very much☺
