Hi Linda, ordinary crayons, Derwent, the pack called them sketching pencils, they are really bendable, quite waxy but readable. This is the first time I've used them.

Derwent coloured sketching pencils on pastel paper. Lots of layers needed to create the effect that I wanted of my cousins late beagle. I also used some Koch I noor polycolour pencils which I like because they are waxy but still erasable.
