I like your still lifes and they ought to have a better response but bizarrely they are almost too good, too clever (that makes many of us uncomfortable) and possibly tonally too dark ( we like bright and explicit). Also forget the old master bit but I would be interested to know how you set the group up... particularly lighting, background and what sort of lighting you work by and if you use a foto image for reference but I imagine that you work quickly.
