That works so well - it definitely enhances the land and sea and gives it a 3D effect.

Thanks David, I like the surface, no prep just Acrylic straight onto the cardboard, and delivered free by Amazon this morning too.

Lovely and great use of cardboard!

Once saw an exhibition of paintings done on cornflake boxes at the Tate Modern. Hold on to these they might be important one day. Nice picture btw!

Thanks you very much Heather.

Thanks Andrew. Yes the Tate modern would be the place for Cornflake packets alright. The last time I went there was when I was doing my Fine art degree and we were all shipped over there to pay homage to Tracy's unmade bed.

Don’t you find there is a sense of freedom painting on something you would normally throw away? A successful experiment and one worth keeping Bryan. I tried it myself once years ago, a scene of Venice canals I think.

Great use of materials and very effective Bryan.

An acrylic seascape on cardboard. I hate throwing all that cardboard packaging away so I sometimes use it for studies or just heaven forbid, fun paintings. Very liberating it is too. Also it is a nice warm mid tone already.
