What a delightful painting, I love the poses, and the whole composition. You have achieved the ripples in that shallow water very well.

Lovely composition. I'm not quite sure how much of their feet are in the water.

Lovely painting, so typical of a hot day of exploration on the beach. I needed to look quite hard to see how much of their feet were int he water, difficult with a photograph but I think they are up to their ankles. Thanks for the memory

Thanks for the comments, Little Switz is an old limestone quarry, now a park and on the banks of the humber by the Humber Bridge, the pool is shallow and the kids are in fact examining their catches on the mud flat at the edge, the wet feet came later.

Nice painting shows what kids like to do, explore. Just natural and unposed ,great.
