Brian the contrast certainly is an eyecatcher for a subject and in the thumbnail, but IMHO it is rendered a touch too strong, with the red feature prop or turbine such a bright element, It is well constructed composition and good drawing. I tried cropping the top down to just above the aerial on the cabin.

Certainly a great painting Brian. Love all the different textures you have used.

Thanks for these comments, I agree - the red housing of the propeller is too bright and detracts from the workmen who Re the focal point. I was in danger of overworking so stopped before breaking the paper surface. I may well return to this as a studio piece.
