(A3 size) Back to acrylic for this studio picture, I did a watercolour on site and used that for reference material. The island is Lords Island and in the background the hills are Castlerigg, Bleaberry and a bit of Lords Seat. I am not entirely happy with the result; the evening light seemed brighter on the day and despite the contrasts - worked up from contrasting under painting the overall tone seems duller than it felt.
