This is just so endearing, Brenda! And I like the combination of colors.

I saw that photo in the paper as well (but wasn't brave enough to attempt to paint it!). Really sweet painting. I think you have got the colour of the big horse especially spot on.

Thanks for your comments Seok and Thea, I actually found the 'stallion' difficult to interpret from the photograph. He looks a little out of proportion and top heavy around the head, but this may be due to the fact that he is 'special'!
