Thanks for your interest Maureen. No it wasn't from life - I picked out a couple of musicians from photos in magazines, and made this composition. Actually this was the rough charcoal sketch to give me the idea of what I wanted. I was so glad that I photographed it, as I then ruined it by trying to paint it, so it no longer exists. I enjoyed doing it though, and may try again some time with a painted version.
