Misty morning

I love the dramatic light in the sky and the colours in the range of mountains. To me it looks as though the tree is going to fall down. Perhaps if the trunk came down more vertically onto the horizontal base in the foreground area it may work better. It does have some really good lighting on the trunk.

Now just wondering if the composition needed the tree included at all, as there is enough going on in the painting to stand on it's own without the tree.
