Isn’t it the most painted castle or something Brian? I prefer this view of it and the palette. The sky is fabulous.

A really effective strong palette, and it’s kept a lovely clean fresh look to it. It’s a really lovely watercolour, Brian. The light and shadows around the castle are good, and like Fiona, I love the loose flowing sky, it’s full of movement.

Very atmospheric! I have sailed past but failed to photograph it which was a shame. An English frigate bombarded the castle many years ago and reduced it to a ruin but now restored

I know everyone does a version, it’s the law in the amateur art world lol. This is a Kersey inspired pic. Not entirely happy with it but onwards and upwards.
