Out of Swansea

Your've really got this light red sail on a boat sussed, haven't you. You use it to such good effect. The calmness of your foreground shows real style and restraint. Very nice feeling to this painting.

So calm, so relaxed. Lovely.

Its Chinese Red Thea, It blends well and yet stands alone well. I use it quite a lot when depicting sunsets.

A beautiful serene painting well up to your usual very high standard and, of course, with my favourite backdrop !! What paints do you use, I've not heard of Chinese Red?

I like this picture especially the sand and the grass in the fore ground. The calm waves look good as well. I like the way all your colours go together so well.

Lovely scene, those beautiful merging washes. The waves look great too. Get the feeling there's a bit of breeze on the waves and the way the grass is leaning.

Really beautiful colours and mood Bill. I love the way the wash suggests the emerging light just right of centre. also the placing of the gulls. Very , very clever and understated.

I agree with all the other comments and i just love the sky the colours are wonderful.
