What a sad story. You can see the sadness and lonliness in his eyes - so well captured. You have an interesting technique and it has worked very well to describe this noble animal.

A very well drawn picture with a lot of feeling.

I was so impressed by the story of Ernest Thompson Seton's hunt and capture of Lobo, who died, not by the hand of the hunter, but, of a broken heart at being robbed of his mate and his freedom, that I had to paint how I felt about this magnificent animal. I think he taught his hunter a great lesson.
