I agree with what you say about gouache, but I still like it as a medium. These days I tend to use a mix of watercolour and gouache (as I think you do?). Good work Claire.

Thank you. No watercolour in this one just gouache but I think i will try using them both together

I love this type of scene irl but found this difficult. I have noticed that lights get darker and darks get lighter when gouache dries so have tried to add more contrast this time. Ive painted over the house about 5 times now. Im still not happy with it but have decided to leave it there.
