Barry, this one I feel is excellent also, you have a terribly good palette and method of work. The result is a very serious piece of work. Very enjoyable. So much to see and digest in these paintings.

Barry...Knowing the area in which you paint, this draws and depresses me also, which means that it has an emotional impact, which good art should have...juries out on this but I do understand where your heart lies, and that this holds a strange fascination for me...something of dark satanic mills?

There's a painter of whom this work reminds me - would it be George Rowlett, or am I thinking of someone else entirely....? Anyway, it doesn't matter, because it's all your own work and vision. But I like the heart-felt and honest approach.
