More Ammonite paintings.
These ammonite paintings used different colours and also added small areas of gold & silver leaf,to enhance the overall effect. Some of the pictures included words as a playful reference to a verbal word game called Aunt Sally, which when written down is obvious - she prefers words that include double letters. i think that the technique of using the fabric transfer crayons to make rubbings of the actual 3D objects works as a start to help get the idea off the ground but only that. Colours used are a personal choice as the actual fossils are colourless at least in terms of those used.
