Wombat by Barbara Morris

Made me smile, good one Barbara

Love it.

I remember a David Attenborough film featuring wombats: as one dug out a burrow, another just sat there while the displaced earth showered down on him: "the wombat", said David, "is not notable for its darting intelligence". But they are lovable works of nature, and this is a very appealing watercolour.
