A perfect combination of colours – the red and yellow trawlers and a blue silken sea in Brancaster Harbour in Norfolk, lent themselves to this serene offset composition. It is painted on a 60 x 50 cm deep edge canvas which does not require a frame. the 4cm deep edge is painted white. Reflections and shadows have always held a fascination for me due to the manner in which they distort and translate the actual, tangible world around us.
