The Amphitheatre by David Stevens
A watercolour of this dramatic mountain formation in the Drakensberg in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. This location was used many years ago to film the cinema classic " Zulu" with Michael Caine and the late Stanley Baker. The site is actually no where near the actual Battle of Rorkes' Drift where the actual battle took place in the Zulu War of 1879.
