How interesting and very good

Interesting facts David with this well.painted scene

Very interesting, another good one

A place I hope to visit before they carry me out feet first - the practice to which you refer does prolong the life of these old boats, and gives them a use in their old age; people up there know all about recycling.

Thank you all for your very kind comments and remarks.

I remember seeing these characterful huts on a visit, I think I’ve done a watercolour of one of them. I like the texture you have added to the foreground.

A watercolour which I completed this morning of one of the fishermen's huts on this island off the coast of Northumberland. It would appear to be common practice to convert inverted boat keels and then use them as huts on the island.
